I’m a proud Arizona native and graduate of the Deer Valley Unified School District. I earned my degree in Parks and Recreation Management from Northern Arizona University, with an emphasis in Outdoor Education and Leadership, along with a minor in Disability Studies. My background in Adaptive Recreation has allowed me to support individuals in achieving their goals and encouraging independence—a passion that led me to transition into teaching through Deer Valley’s Teacher Preparation Program.
I’m deeply committed to helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally, and I’m here to support them as they prepare for whatever comes next.
Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends. I have three sisters and am a proud aunt to two nephews and a niece. I enjoy swimming, hiking, painting, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors—especially in Flagstaff. I’m also a big fan of ice cream, dark chocolate, and relaxing with a good movie or show. Most of all, I love making meaningful memories with the people around me.
