Early College

Barry Goldwater High School offers Early College through Paradise Valley Community College.  Early College provides the opportunity to attend high school half day and college half day throughout their junior and senior years of high school.  Students receive dual credit for core classes such as ENG 101-102, Chemistry, and College Algebra.  The advantages for students to participate in the program include completing 36 credit hours of the AGEC (Arizona General Education Core) and paying community college tuition at today's rate. Students apply to the program in November of Sophomore year and start taking courses during the summer after school ends.
